Dr. Tathagata Chatterjee, the Founder & Managing Director,Sahayta Clinic, is a practicing Psychiatrist having completed his MBBS from Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai and MD Psychiatry from Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai. Practicing in the field of Psychiatry for the past 7 years, he is also a Faculty Member of the Department of Psychiatry, KPC Medical College, Jadavpur, Kolkata where he enjoys teaching students at both UG & PG level. Hailing from a family of doctors, he recollects that he forever wanted to be a mental health professional with one of his primary objectives in life being to try and achieve de-stigmatization of mental illnesses. In his own words,I strive for that day when the entire society accepts, treats & prioritizes mental health disorders, like any other disorder and everyone can talk about their mental health openly and without fear of judgment. Apart from general psychiatry, Dr. Chatterjees areas of special interest include Sexual Disorders, Addiction Disorders (including new-age addictions such as Internet Addiction, Gaming Addiction, etc.) & OCD.
